This elegant property with a hint of English charm is the perfect choice for a family of multiple generations looking for a very peaceful rural location yet just a 5 minute taxi ride away from the bustling resort of Gouvia or alternatively, a little further, the historical centre of Corfu Town with its narrow Venetian style streets and piazzas.

The extensive varandas of Salamandra enjoy stunning views over Gouvia Marina and the North East coast beyond, there are plenty of comfortable rattan sofas here making this the perfect location to relax and enjoy pre-dinner drinks.

The villa is fully staffed with daily housekeeping and during July & August includes the services of a chef & and waiter which avoids the stress of restaurant reservations for ten during busy periods and of course is a great excuse to take full advantage of the facilities this stunning property has to offer. Chef by request during other months, at a supplement. (Guests are sent a pre arrival shopping list along with choice of initial meals)

The accommodation in the house extends to approximately 450 sq metres and briefly comprises of a spacious open-plan reception room, dining room & kitchen and five comfortable bedrooms all with en-suite bath/shower rooms.

Windows span the full length of this level with access to the covered veranda with quality whicker & rattan lounge furniture, ceiling fans and outside dining area for 12. Here there’s a shaded chill out area with a double bed, the perfect spot to while away the afternoon with a good book or take a snooze after lunch.

Centrally located giving easy access to the majority of Corfu is the resort of Gouvia. This resort has something for everyone. The village itself has a great choice of restaurants serving every type of cuisine imaginable. There’s a Mexican, a Thai, an Indian, an Italian and lots of traditional Greek Tavernas serving homecooked meals. The village has a small bay with shingle beach, the water here is shallow and very safe for children.
