This stunning waterfront property consists of two beautifully appointed buildings, Villa Barbara & Villa Christina. The large living room of Villa Barbara with its exclusive F-Design Cheminee enjoys spectacular views of the Ionian Sea, adjacent is a modern kitchen and an airy, light dining room, the view room. In this area, it was important for the owners to create a sense of freedom and to emphasize the immediate proximity to the sea. Large sliding windows that can be fully opened and will disappear in the wall extending the room onto the terrace and gives an incomparable feeling of in and out. The glass enclosure of the terrace is only for security, but leaves the view clear, nothing keeps the eye and gives you the feeling of being on the deck of a ship. The large terrace runs around and also connects the two bedrooms. ​Furthermore, one bedroom has a direct exit to the pool, ideal for a midnight swim.

Villa Christina is slightly elevated and enjoys a great view of the pool and the garden. From the first floor the views are simply spectacular . The panoramic view extends over the garden, the pool and the barbecue area and the sea beyond. On the terrace there is an original Brunswick billiard inviting you to play with a view. Villa Christina has 3 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms a large living area with a fully equipped modern kitchen. Here we have a charming mix of modern and antique. The gardens of this property are laid to various terraces, lots of hidden areas to be discovered. All the terraces and paths have been lovingly decorated with local stone. The colours of the natural stones have been taken over by the colour selection of the villas and the furnishings in order to maintain a harmonious overall appearance.

​The villa is in a terrific position with just ten steps down to the villas private beach. Here you can spend a whole day by the water, or with the yacht anchoring, exploring further surroundings. One step higher, you can enjoy a cool drink in your own beach bar, admiring the artisan art of Emilio, who has carved an artful fountain made of natural stone. The shelf in the bar was cut from a tree trunk that had been washed upon the beach during a storm. Climb a few steps higher to the large deck with the gazebo and enjoy the large infinity swimming pool with sun-loungers, parasols and relaxing bean bags.

Once a popular haunt for the Club 18-30s crowd in the 70s and early 80s and since they were relocated to the southern tip of the island, Benitses has now reverted to the traditional village it once was. The central square is often the location of many village festivals during the Summer with Greek dancing and lamb on the spit. The new Yacht Marina has certainly enhanced the area and is a pleasant spot to have morning coffee whilst watching the comings and goings. There are a great selection of good quality restaurants in the centre, many of which are highly rated on reviews. Two of our favourites is Oi Oraies situated along the pedestrianised road where Dimitri will take good care of you and serve you some of the best food cooked by his Wife and all beautifully presented. If you love fish & sea food then Klimataria overlooking the square is also fabulous. Benitses village lies 14km south of Corfu Town making it the ideal location to enjoy the vast sandy beaches of the south, the UNESCO historical town of Corfu and the Achilleion Palace & gardens in Gastouri village. Once the home to Princess Sissi & Kaiser Wilhelm and where James Bond ‘For your Eyes only’ was filmed, the views from the gardens along the coastline are stunning.
