Gastouri village lies 10km south of Corfu Town making it the ideal location to enjoy the vast sandy beaches of the south, the UNESCO historical town of Corfu and the Achilleion Palace & gardens, once the home to Princess Sissi & Kaiser Wilhelm and where James Bond ‘For your Eyes only’ was filmed .
This traditional Corfiot village has 3 tavernas, some tourist shops selling traditional olive wood ornaments etc, a couple of cafe bars & a mini-market for the very basics. It’s a sleepy village where the bread is still baked the traditional way and old ladies with Donkeys wander the streets carrying fresh produce on their heads. Gastouri was also awarded Greece best village.
The area surrounding the village is well tendered and the location of many upmarket properties. Here we have a great selection of beautiful villas, many with stunning views of the East coast.
Benitses with it’s wonderful selection of restaurants is just a five minute drive down from the centre of the village.

Villa Claire, south of the village is a quirky design & our most eco friendly, the villa is set is immaculately tendered gardens with a lovely pool.
For 180 degree views and ideal for smaller parties is Villa Thalia, this property has a Spanish feel with a grand sweeping staircase.
Villa Pascalia is set in Olive groves just out of the village, a well equipped villa for those looking for a tranquil, peaceful location.
