Nissaki is one, if not, the most popular areas along the North East coast of Corfu for villa holidays. Nissaki spreads itself along a 3km stretch of stunning coastline, encompassing numerous bays and small mountain hamlets. The harbour is the focal point of the area, with a selection of traditional tavernas located around the pretty harbour and immaculate pebbly beach. Here you will find the clearest water, a haven for snorkelling. There are a good selection of restaurants here, Miltos Restaurant is the built on the edge of the rocky outcrop overlooking the sea and the beach. It’s the largest most popular taverna down in Nissaki where Agatha & Lakis and their family before them have been serving delicious home cooked food since 1955.
We have a great selection of villas in Nissaki, all of which are scattered along the coast, most of which enjoy utterly spectacular views of the sea.
This sprawling area is separated into many small hamlets where a cluster of upmarket properties can be found. Located on the winding road up to Viglatsouri is Villa Alyssa. The villa has recently undergone some renovations and now boasts three brand new en-suite contemporary shower rooms and the lounge has wall to wall glass doors to enjoy the views. A little further up in the centre of Viglatsouri Hamlet is Olive Grove, this is one of our most spacious villas, with a large infinity style swimming pool, four bedrooms including two masters, it’s a perfect villa for two families.
A little further along the coast in the hamlet of Apolisies is the boutique style Villa Neraida, a luxury two bedroom renovated stone house with private pool. Just a few hundred metres away is the stunning Villa Pelagos, a three bedroom recently constructed property whose infinity pool meets with the turquoise ocean below creating a mesmerizing view. Also in Apolosies we offer The Summer House, this very lovely 4 bedroom property has a real holiday feel, tastefully decorated in pale blues.
A little further up the hill from Apolisies in the pretty hamlet of Katavolos is very lovely Old Bakery. This country house is one of our favourites, once the local Bakery, it has been tastefully renovated over the years combining the old traditional Corfiot design with its thick stone walls with modern amenities including a large super modern kitchen and high-tech bathrooms. The large pool sits within stone terraces and enjoys magical views down the valley.
For clients who like to be within walking distance of amenities, we have the comfortable Villa Nitsa which has just undergone a major refurbishment. A great choice for those who don’t want to be reliant on a car, the villa is located just a five minute stroll down to the coastal road and the well-stocked Aphrodite Supermarket, a bakery, ATM machine. A little further along the road you’ll find a small selection of tavernas scattered along the coastal road.
Villa Serendipity is on the lower level of Nissaki and situated just off the coastal road between Nissaki & the popular resort of Barbati, located within a few minutes stroll of one of the very popular waterfront restaurant ‘Glyfa Taverna’ Built on the rocks that lead down to the sea, the restaurant is on three levels with views across the sea towards Corfu Town. Anthoula does all the cooking and the staff here are extremely friendly. Lunch is served daily from 12 noon and dinner until 11pm. There are also sunbeds here for free.
