During the summer the village is bursting with life and local bands play in the village square opposite the popular Zanzibar tavern.
With it’s flagged floors, reclaimed stone walls and cathedral ceilings Pelekas Cottage has been built to traditional style yet has every modern convenience one would expect from a villa of today. There is lovely under covered outside dining area and a brick build BBQ
A perfect choice for couples seeking a peaceful retreat or families looking for a central base which is less than a five minute drive to one of Corfu’s most beautiful sandy beaches ‘Kontoyialos’. ​
For thrill seekers, Aqualand, Europes largest Water Park is just over a five minute drive away and for the Golfers Corfu’s excellent course is a mere 10 minute drive. The Cottage is one of three linked detached, and boasts a private pool with plenty of patio areas giving adequate space for sunbathing or outside dining. It is comfortably furnished and both bedrooms have local traditional hand-made Iron Beds.

Kitchen: Fully fitted modern kitchen with built in cooker & Hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine & microwave.
Living Rooms: Open plan lounge/dining room with double sofa bed, TV, CD player, Play Station 2 with several games and DVDs, dining table and 4 chairs.

Outdoor Areas: Gardens to both front & rear. Outdoor dining in the garden and on the terrace. Stone BBQ area by pool.

Pelekas Village is perched on the top of a hill, this typically Greek village is hip and trendy and famed for it’s colourful atmosphere. There’s a great choice of local tavernas in the village serving traditional homecooked food and a very popular Pizzeria. Below the village is the stunning beach of Kontogialos with its sweeping bay of golden sands. There are some great tavernas along the beach and some fashionable bars with quality sun-loungers & parasols with waiter service. This area of Corfu really is a paradise, from the stunning beaches, turquoise seas and dramatic scenery.
