Seaside Beach Villa in South-East Corfu – Accommodation and Facilities

Entry to the house is via ten steps, into the spacious open plan living and dining area, with a separate fully equipped kitchen, and office alcove.
Huge glass doors lead from the living area onto the wide veranda with a covered outside seating and dining area – the ideal place for an uninterrupted view of the sunrise.
Steps lead down into the garden, onto the pool terrace with sun loungers and umbrellas plus a four-poster lounger, and the swimming pool (10m x 5m)
The pool terrace has a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and dining area with gas barbecue, large ‘monastery’ style table with benches and a huge umbrella.
The main garden gate leads into our ‘personal beach garden’, with palm umbrellas, sun loungers and easy chairs in the shade of the trees.
A beach gate leads straight onto the sand – only five steps to the sea!

This area in the south of the island is largely undiscovered, and even many local Corfiots have never heard of ‘our’ beach, although it is one of the best on the island. There are few properties along the beach, just a taverna at the north end, (about five minutes’ walk from the villa) and a few villas at the southern end. The beach is approx 1.5km long, sand, easy flat walking (or jogging!)
The small town of Lefkimmi has approx 5,000 residents, and has retained many traditional elements, tall venetian style houses still stand, although many are un-renovated. It is one of the few places left in Corfu where you can often see local ladies in traditional dress, and it retains the relaxed family atmosphere so lacking in many newer resorts, with our guests being warmly welcomed everywhere. There are four tavernas on the river 2 km away from the house – Altro and Agkali serving interesting traditional food and super friendly, Ovelos for grills, Riverside Coffee bar for drinks and snacks – there is also a basic supermarket here.
