Lorna N, Berlin, GermanyDate of stay: April 2019 Villa Rossi is very spacious and comfortable. We particularly liked the upstairs veranda for sunset dining. The garden is impressive, and the pool so attractive that the children used it almost every day, despite the changeable April weather.
Thomas H, BelgiumDate of stay: September 2018 We spent 1 week in this wonderful villa. Really nice view from the pool, a charming village close to the house, and not far from Corfou city. I recommend this place. Just 1 advice for the owner: it would be interesting to reach the garden directly from the terrace.
Volker S, GermanyDate of stay: September 2018 We had a great time at villa Rossi. Very quiet, the pictures representing very well the villa. Very clean, amazing terrace, the outside areas, swimming pool and garden is really good. The people who are looking after the villa are really nice and helpful. Thanks to Annabelle and Jane for their help and answering all our questions! You need a car as the villa is in a very (lovely) small village. We walked few times to the village to get some food at taverna, great to have that option.

Bruce E, Crawley, UKDate of stay: July 2018 Great villa in a quiet old village.. Only two places to eat with limited menus. Well equipped with a large balcony for the evenings. Large well maintained garden and pool area. There are a lot of wasps around the pool, but they are not interested in anything you’re doing or have, as they are only after the water from the pool. You can walk places, but it’s 2km either way down very steep roads - alright to walk down but a struggle getting back up. We didn’t hire a car at the start but did half way through the holiday, which I would recommend as it not only gets you up the hills, but allows you to get to other beaches etc. You can walk to Benitses, which has lots of restaurants, but it’s about a 3km walk. There are taxis there to get back for about 10-15 euros, and they didn’t seem to be fussed how many they took in the taxi. Taxis can be hard to get though as you’re fairly close to the airport, so they are all busy doing airport runs.
Jo D, Manchester, UKDate of stay: July 2018 We had a great time. The villa was roomy, comfortable and Chris and Jane had thought of everything a family might need. Thanks!
Translation: The arrival was a bit difficult despite the good description of Jane. The key pad at the gate did not work, so the entrance to the house was not possible. To phone! Furthermore, the code for the key box at the house was wrong. To phone! Also the code for the WLAN (WIFI) was wrong. To phone! The dishwasher is totally calcified and rinses very bad. A teapot could not hurt either. At the limit of the driveway you have to pay attention to protruding reinforcing bars. Spare tires advantageous! The kitchen is on the 1st floor with adjoining large, covered porch. If you want to eat in the garden, you have to carry all the things down. But all this can only slightly diminish the positive overall impression. The location is idyllic, the porch is huge and yet cozy. From here you also have a fantastic view of Corfu Town, including the airfield with the taking off and landing aircraft. Another highlight is the large and beautifully located pool. Corfu Town is quickly reached in a quarter of an hour. I can not recommend the 2nd Taverna on the spot (Kerkiras). The lamb chops were inedible, as was the house wine! A very good restaurant in Corfu is the 'Venetian Well' Here you can eat very well in a nice small and quiet place. Nice places (cafés) in Corfu are also at Falerati (NO) and Kanoni at the end of the runway. Then we discovered an idyllic vineyard called Ambelonas, where you can have a nice dinner. The house wine is a matter of taste, in any case, original and worth a tasting. Worth seeing are of course the Achilleion and the "Kaiserstuhl" on the west coast.
