Villa Description
Exclusive to Prestige Villas of Corfu. With a waterfront position, and direct access to what could be described as your own private beach, this modern and super contemporary villa is the ultimate in modern living. Located within picturesque forestry land, the area is extremely tranquil and not overlooked. Villa Siderenio is another super home to add to our ever-expanding collection of West coast ‘Prestige Collection’ properties
Cleverly designed, this fabulous villa is extremely spacious with five double bedrooms (3 can be made into twins) & four bathrooms. All rooms in the property enjoy breath-taking views of the sea and with their large wall to wall, floor to ceiling expanses of glass give the feeling of living within the heart of nature. The two master bedrooms are separately located at either end of the villa, each with en-suite shower room, sliding glass doors onto large verandas and stunning views of the ocean. Each master is reached by their own private staircase so provides complete privacy.
There is spacious open plan sitting room with fireplace, a modern fully fitted kitchen with central island and dining room with dining table for ten. From this area, the large glass windows open to the dining veranda with another large table seating ten.
The villa boasts a 30 meter swimming pool overlooking the ocean with a shallow area for sunbeds, there are vast patio areas for relaxing and dining plus of course this coast enjoys the most magical sunsets and extra-long days.
There is a small village supermarket just 800m from the villa. Just 1.3km to the traditional village of Pentati to the north with restaurants and tavernas enjoying breath-taking views of the coastline and 2km to Paramonas Beach to the south, a laid back beach resort also with restaurants and tavernas. The busier beach resort of Agios Gordios with a huge choice of restaurants, shops and a long sandy beach is just 4kms away .

The West coast of Corfu is fast becoming a popular choice for those in search of fabulous sandy beaches and dramatic scenery. Naturally sunsets along this coast are stunning with days feeling longer than those on the North East. The traditional hilltop village of Pentati sits just south of Agios Gordios. The village itself is a contrast to it’s bucket & spade neighbour, it’s a sleepy village where the locals still siesta to avoid the afternoon heat. There are some great tavernas in the village all have amazing reviews on TripAdvisor. Angela’s & Chris’s Place which from the top terrace has sensational views of the coastline below and the latest restaurant which is a firm favourite of ours is Fieroula. For a traditional Greek meze and Greek hospitality try Strofi which is the villa owners favourite!

However there are two negatives that need mentioning: During our stay we were flooded by wasps and there were many dead wasps in the area behind the pool. While it is true that the villa has a private beach, one needs to climb more tha 80 steps (we counted them and the beach was no real beach, since it was coverd by a massiv, 2 feet + thick layer of dead sea grass. Nevertheless, a wonderful place for a vacation, especially for larger families. OUR REPLY: Thank you so much for taking the time to review the villa. Unfortunately wasps can be an issue in such green nature in the summer. The dead wasps were due to traps set by the owners to prevent as many as possible. Unfortunately if there is bad weather and high waves seaweed can get washed up on the beach, the owner do clear the beach and the beginning of the season however it can pile up over time if it doesn't get naturally swept away. Sitting by the pool in the beautifully planted gardens with butterflies all around was one of the highlights of our holiday.The shopping service from Prestige was fantastic as it enabled us to get hold of great quality produce. The villa is extremely tasteful - boho and individual. We found the beds very comfortable and the air-conditioning excellent. the pool and outdoor furniture is comfortable and plentiful.the criticism we had concerned the bedrooms and two master ensuites. This is a very good villa for adults, especially if you want to spend most of your time at the villa. There are two spectacular bedrooms on the first floor and the other three are also very nice.The steps to the cove are steep but manageable- we had a problem with seaweed and so entering the water was tricky - a jetty platform would be a fantastic addition.

The roads to the villa are not for the faint hearted and walking to the nearest village was not an option in the heat. We did have a couple of issues during our stay but they were solved very quickly by the owner who came immediately to solve the problem. Ronan G, UKDate of stay: June 2024 Absolutely brilliant villa. Beautiful grounds with olive groves; it felt very secluded and a pool with a gorgeous view. Jaw-dropping sunsets each evening. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a secluded stay in Corfu. Easy driving distance to Agios Giordios beach and the local village Pentati has some beautiful tavernas.
