The West coast of Corfu is fast becoming a popular choice for those in search of fabulous sandy beaches and dramatic scenery. Naturally sunsets along this coast are stunning with days feeling longer than those on the North East. The traditional hilltop village of Pentatii sits just south of Agios Gordios. The village itself is a contrast to it’s bucket & spade neighbour, it’s a sleepy village where the locals still siesta to avoid the afternoon heat. There are some great tavernas in the village all have amazing reviews on Tripadvisor. Angelas & Chris’s Place which from the top terrace has sensational views of the coastline below and the latest restaurant which is a firm favourite of ours is Fieroula.

Kjell H, Zaandam, The NetherlandsDate of stay: July 2025 Amazing, wonderful and breathtaking ... we absolutely loved our 2 weeks stay in Villa Symphonia, the villa has all the comfort one can wish for and Nina (big thx and kisses from us) makes sure it's kept this way including frequent fresh bed and towels, as well as other staff members make sure the surroundings and pool stay spotless. The villa provides a spectacular view overlooking the sea, nice breeze (really welcome during summer days) and great amount of shade to hide when needed (very well though of). The road towards Pentati and last 100m to the house is typical for area with curves, bends and a few bumps left and right, therefore advise to rent a car (must have) which is up for the task. Some great food/dinner options are nearby in Pentati, just 2min drive, and once you tried them one can drive to e.g. Agios Gordios (~15min), Corfu city (~35min). All in all, superb villa with perhaps even better staff :-) and would highly recommend when looking for a villa where one can relax, enjoy the view, every night sunsets and still close enough to enjoy the island of Corfu.

The location is stunning, private and peaceful; Pentati is a 15 minute walk, with four tavernas (our favourite being Sofia’s, aka “Chris Place” where we spent three evenings of our week). Nina the housekeeper was outstandingly helpful and friendly via mobile messaging and made a huge difference to how well our holiday went. The facilities in the villa are plentiful and clean, each room having an en suite as well as a spare bathroom. The kitchen is small but adequate (when we cooked, we mostly used the barbecue). The pool is regularly cleaned and is a joy to use. The table football and table tennis were also very welcome, as was the generous hamper on arrival. The only notable minor improvement would be to have dishwasher tablets and/or washing up goods (and ideally laundry tablets) provided as we had to go back out to get these. Apart from this, we wanted for nothing, and thanks again to Nina for her invaluable help and flexibility 🙂

The more than generous outdoor spaces offer a table for 10 people in the shade of two large tents, and a wonderful immense veranda with 2 sofas and an armchair from which to contemplate exceptional sunsets! Fast internet connection for some work that I brought with me on holiday… I am satisfied with having chosen this villa for holidays with my family.

The villa offers every comfort you need, the contrast between the light colors and the blue of the sea is exceptional, simple and functional furnishings, clean villa in excellent condition. Clean and tidy villa, breathtaking sea view, many taverns and beaches nearby. Recommended in few minutes by car the immense beach of Chalikounas, sand dunes and beach bars, fantastic!!
