Villa Description
Villa Thalia – Panoramic Beauty and Exceptional Privacy, One of the Finest Viewpoints in the South East of Corfu
Commanding one of the most spectacular positions in the region, Villa Thalia sits high above the sea and enjoys sweeping, uninterrupted views across Corfu’s stunning south-east coastline. From sunrise to dusk, the scenery is truly mesmerising.
This charming villa, built in traditional Mediterranean style, offers outstanding privacy. Set at the end of a secluded driveway and surrounded by lush private gardens spanning nearly 5,000 m², the estate is rich with palms, yuccas, twenty mature olive trees, and tall pines that create a tropical atmosphere.
Upon entering the villa, you are greeted by a striking antique-brick spiral staircase that rises through the centre of the house, filling the interior with light and character.
The ground floor features a spacious kitchen with oak cabinetry, tiled counters, and modern appliances including an electric oven with ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, and tall fridge-freezer. The view from the marble sink is simply unforgettable. A circular dining room offering panoramic window views. A large, elegant sitting room also circular in design with French windows opening to the terrace. From here, the infinity pool merges seamlessly with the sea and sky, creating a spellbinding palette of turquoise that feels both endless and soothing. A double bedroom and a modern family shower room complete the ground floor layout.
The first floor is home to the magnificent circular Master Bedroom, featuring French windows that open onto a vast sea-view balcony. Also on this level is a smaller single bedroom with a pull-out sofa bed suitable for one adult, two children, or two smaller adults. These rooms share a spacious family bathroom with a walk-in shower and, once again, breathtaking views.
Location
Villa Thalia is ideally situated less than 5 minutes’ drive to Gastouri, home to local tavernas and the celebrated Achilleion Palace. Another 5 minutes brings you to Benitses, a charming resort with an excellent choice of tavernas and cafés. Corfu Town and its enchanting maze of historic streets are just 15–20 minutes away.
The villa’s central position also offers easy access to beaches on both coasts, approximately 5 minutes to the east coast and 15–20 minutes to the dramatic west coast with its endless sandy beaches.
Please Note:
While Villa Thalia is set within a peaceful residential area, some distant resort noise from the beachfront Aeolos Beach Hotel (between 7pm and 11pm) may occasionally be heard.

Boat Hire – Yes nearest is with Benitses Boat Hire
Supermarkets – Nearest is 1.5km away
‘Highlights’ – Traditional Corfiot Village, Achilleion Palace & easy access to Benitses & Corfu Town
Gastouri village lies 10km south of Corfu Town making it the ideal location to enjoy the vast sandy beaches of the south, the UNESCO historical town of Corfu and the Achilleion Palace & gardens, once the home to Princess Sissi & Kaiser Wilhelm and where James Bond ‘For your Eyes only’ was filmed. This traditional Corfiot village has 3 tavernas, some tourist shops selling traditional olive wood ornaments etc, a couple of cafe bars & a mini-market for the very basics. It’s a sleepy village where the bread is still baked the traditional way and old ladies with Donkeys wander the streets carrying fresh produce on their heads. Gastouri was also awarded Greece best village. The area surrounding the village is well tendered and the location of many upmarket properties. This beautiful area is the perfect choice for those looking for a central location with easy access to the majority of Corfu Island with Benitses with it’s wonderful selection of restaurants just a five minute drive down from the centre of the village.

Matthew H, UKDate of stay: May 2018 Two weeks have whizzed by… and what a wonderful time we have all had here. Villa Thalia has been so comfortable and has all the right ingredients for a very relaxing, restful holiday: its location overlooking the sea almost beneath the Achillion Palace is superb, the infinity pool is so beautiful and the villa very well equipped. Your guidance in the planning stage was much appreciated by us both, as were your most helpful notes in the folder here. We have taken up many of your suggestions during our stay, and have taken full advantage of our "Jimmy Jeep" to get to even the trickiest spots! We would add the local bakery in Gastouri village, the Tavernas Belos and Paxinos in Benitses, Taverna Stamatis in Viros, the very upmarket and classy White House in Kalami. Finally, breakfast on the beach in Ag. Gordios at beach-bar Posidonio (where you get to park too) before hurling yourself over the sand into the sea.
