Nestled in the forest overlooking the West coast, the property is a ten minutes walk down to one of the islands best sandy beaches and just a ten minute walk from the quirky village of Pelekas famed for it’s traditional nightlife. This area is one of the islands most up and coming locations boasting stunning scenery and spectacular sandy beaches.

The villa is cool and comfortable and represents the style of its French owners beautifully. The property is set in tropical gardens and has lovely views over the forest towards the sea. The main floor comprises of a large elegant drawing room with fireplace with ceilings open to the rafters, a farmhouse style kitchen is dominated by a huge rustic family table & stools, two double bedrooms and a family bathroom are also on the ground floor. The first floor is home to the master suite and a fourth double room. The summer house out in the gardens is a perfect retreat for teenagers looking for a little independence.

The covered porch spanning the front of the house is the perfect place to while away the afternoons with a book and a great social spot for alfresco dining. The beautiful swimming pool is set in attractive natural stone patios and has comfortable sun-loungers, parasols for shade and a further rustic covered pergola sitting area. A beautiful property in all respects and sure to provide long lasting holiday memories.

The West coast of Corfu is fast becoming a popular choice for those in search of fabulous sandy beaches and dramatic scenery. Pelekas Village is perched on the top of a hill, this typically Greek village is hip and trendy and famed for it’s colourful atmosphere. During the summer the village is bursting with life and local bands play live in the village square opposite the popular Zanzibar tavern. There’s a great choice of local tavernas in the village serving traditional homecooked food and a very popular Pizzeria. Below the village is the stunning beach of Kontogialos with its sweeping bay of golden sands. There are some great tavernas along the beach and some fashionable bars with quality sun-loungers & parasols with waiter service. This area of Corfu really is a paradise, from the stunning beaches, turquoise seas and dramatic scenery.
