Jorge L, London, UKDate of stay: August 2016 We travelled to Corfu for one week in late August, This was the first time in the island for our family of two adults and two children age 10 and 7. The description of the property in the website accurately describes what you will find: a beautiful villa with stunning views of the bay of Corfu, well presented, clean and with all the necessary facilities to enjoy a summer holiday. We checked numerous Villas before making our mind up and we had numerous questions about the area, how to get there, supermarkets, places to visit, etc. Jane responded timely and accurately to our questions and made our booking process easy and straightforward. I was reassured about her knowledge of the area and the quality and accuracy of her very useful advice. The arrival to Corfu Airport and our trip from the airport to Villa Artemis was clearly easier thanks both to the very useful directions guide provided by Jane and her team and also to the pre-booked meet-and greet option that Jane provided to pick our car. If you take this option, you will not have top queue by the car rental desk. In our case Yannis, a delightful and immensely helpful car rental company owner was waiting at the arrivals terminal with our name, and all we had to do was quickly sign the rental agreement, give our details and pay for the rental, that was very reasonable. Yannis took us to the car himself and gave us his number for any eventual problem, that hopefully we did not encounter. On arrival to the Villa, we were impressed because we found that Villa Artemis is a beautiful, well maintained and with a lovely infinity swimming pool in a fantastic location, quiet but close to supermarkets, beaches, and a very useful pharmacy. Our stay was spent exploring the island and eating beautiful greek food in the miriad of tavernas that pepper the island. Our favourite beach in the area was Kaminaki and we loved Spiro's taverna (Kati Thavres) there. We had a couple of blips during our stay in the house with the air conditioning, supply of water and the TV, but all of these were addressed promptly and sorted out as soon as we phoned Jane, who was always and able, affable and available Villa manager. We had a lovely holiday at Villa Artemis, Thoroughly recommend it and we have already booked again for next year!
Steve W, UKDate of stay: July 2016 Villa Artemis is a sublime facility, perfectly situated for access to Agni Bay, it's neighbour Kalami Beach and a short drive to Ipsos. This modern villa has 3 well-proportioned bedrooms, each with an ensuite facility. The main living area is spacious with glorious views over the sea. The well equipped kitchen is more than adequate for a group, up to 6 adults. The pool and outside areas are superb - we made full use of the outside dining and BBQ area. The villa is ideally located to explore the northern half of Corfu - virtually everywhere is within 45 minutes’ drive. We elected to book our hire-car through the "partner" company Prestige Cars; although the original car failed on the first day (clutch), we received a replacement car within a couple of hours. In terms of local attractions, the proximity of Agni Bay with its 3 excellent Tavernas is a major plus. Kassiopi and Ipsos, which both offer more “lively” alternatives, are only 15-20 minutes’ drive away. The booking process was simple and well-orchestrated. The description of the facilities listed is accurate - there is everything a family would need (note my children are adults now). On that basis, I would absolutely recommend this beautiful villa and the company that offers it. Although we had an excellent holiday, and would return without hesitation, there are a couple of points that need to be noted and, where possible, addressed: • The road approaching the villa is steep with 2 or 3 very tight hair-pin bends – bear this in mind when ordering your hire-car. • We were advised to bring mosquito repellent – we did and the mosquito’s played no significant role. However, there is currently a wasp nest somewhere near the pool area; the wasps became increasingly annoying during our stay. This needs to be fixed. • And finally, the downstairs (3rd) bedroom has no air conditioning – I cannot understand why as the other bedrooms are. In the summer months this is unwelcome. Our Response: The Villa now has AC in all three bedrooms!!

David L, UKDate of stay: September 2015 What a gorgeous place to stay. Six of us arrived on the evening flight into Corfu town, picked up our hire cars (don't get too large a car) and drove the 40 mins to the villa relishing in the warm evening air (a good sign of the weather to come). Upon arrival we were not disappointed, the villa is immaculate inside with a contemporary feel and what we would consider to be very high standard furnishings and fittings. Waking the next morning we could not have asked for a more spectacular view, you can see straight across to Albania, the sun was shining and the mercury was pushing the mid 30s before 09:00 - The hillside is full of Cyrpus trees (who thought Corfu would be so green) it felt very special eating our breakfast on the balcony surrounded by such stunning scenery. The outdoor space is more than adequate with terraces front and rear of the villa, there is no-one to overlook you and it all felt very private. When it cam time to test the pool our 2 boys were more than keen, the deep end is over 1.8M deep but this did not perturb our 2 & 4yr old who once donned with armbands took great relish in creating a big splash. When we could wrestle ourselves away from the villa we visited local bays such as Agni, Kassiopi & Glyfa - all equally stunning with very friendly locals and amazing clear water in which to swim - we would recommend hiring a boat from Alex & George in Agni as it is a great way to explore the coastline. In the local villages we experienced Greek dancing, pie festivals, fire shows and enjoyed every moment, the Greeks certainly know how to have a good time. Unfortunately we were only here for a week but we left exhausted and adamant we would return again. Highly recommended. Our Response: Thank you for your glowing review, so glad you all enjoyed your holiday. Also great to see you've booked again for 2016. We look forward to welcoming you to Villa Artemis once again and hope it's just as wonderful as the first time! Best wishes Jane (Prestige Villas of Corfu) & the owners of Villa Artemis.
Philip J, UKDate of stay: July 2015 Stayed for 2 weeks at Villa Artemis. The booking was easy online and the description of villa, layout and location were accurate. Stunning villa in the hills overlooking Agni bay. Sat for ages in a morning watching the boats and ships pass by. The villa was clean and well maintained and stocked. The pool area was the best with distant views to Corfu town and Albania. Cleaner comes after first week and linen change. Spacious villa for us, a family of 4 with 2 grown up sons. May not be too well suited for small children as the pool gets deep quickly after the few steps in to the pool, but great for us, used it every day. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Great base to explore the north east of Corfu. Visited the highest point Mnt. Pantokrator and monastery, Paleokastritsa on the west side, Kasiopi (lovely harbour), Kalami beach and rocky coves near Nissaki and Corfu Town, have a drink at the Liston area. We ate at Agni taverna and Toulas at Agni bay twice. Try the Toulas prawns, so tasty. Also loved Galini taverna at Ag. Stefanos not far up from Agni, went there 5 times. great gyros takeaway in Ipsos and lots of supermarkets around the area. Stayed around the villa most of the time, relaxing, enjoying the gorgeous views and pool. Lots to see and do in Corfu, loved the relaxed feel to the island. We will definitely return.
Katy H, UKDate of stay: May 2015 What a spectacular villa. Such an amazing place, the views are truly stunning and the set up is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Sitting outside the villa at night, having a BBQ, a beer and watching the fire flies was just magic. We walked down to Agni Bay for dinner a couple of times (steep but doable) and drove to Kalami which is only a ten minute drive. Great beach side tavernas. Perfect place for a family holiday, just don't get a giant people carrier like we did as it is not really suitable for the roads, much easier with a smaller car! Everything at the villa was perfect, and the management company were super helpful answering any questions we had.
Villa Lover, UKDate of stay: July 2014 We have had a fantastic holiday and the villa was fabulous. The pool was perfect and the view to die for! Everyone was more than happy with their bedrooms and we all had loads of space in and out of the villa to relax and enjoy ourselves. We loved the area and sampled quite a few of the restaurants including Toula's which served beautiful food. Our car coped well with all the hills and didn't let us down at all and although we were very lazy we did get to Corfu town and explore the local bays which were gorgeous. It was difficult to tear ourselves away from THAT view. All in all an amazing holiday and thank you for all your help in making it that way. Just to let you know there were no pool towels in the end, just towels in the bedroom. We managed no problem, but in case any one asks. Apart from that perfect! Thanks again for your help and hopefully we will visit again. The Mahoney Family Twickenham UK
