Supermarkets – A couple of mini-markets along the coastal road
‘Highlights’ – Stunning scenery, the heart of the North East coast & pretty harbour area
Nissaki is one, if not, the most popular areas along the North East coast of Corfu for villa holidays. Nissaki spreads itself along a 3km stretch of stunning coastline, encompassing numerous bays and small mountain hamlets. The harbour is the focal point of the area, with a selection of traditional tavernas located around the pretty harbour and immaculate pebbly beach. Here you will find the clearest water, a haven for snorkelling. There are a good selection of restaurants here, Miltos Restaurant is the built on the edge of the rocky outcrop overlooking the sea and the beach. It’s the largest most popular taverna down in Nissaki where Agatha & Lakis and their family before them have been serving delicious home cooked food since 1955.
Located on the coastal road you will find the well stocked Aphrodite Supermarket, a bakery, ATM machine and a little further along the road a small selection of tavernas. On the coastal road between Nissaki & the popular resort of Barbati, is the very popular waterfront restaurant ‘Glyfa Taverna’ Built on the rocks that lead down to the sea, the restaurant is on three levels with views across the sea towards Corfu Town. Anthoula does all the cooking and the staff here are extremely friendly. Lunch is served daily from 12 noon and dinner until 11pm. There are also sunbeds here for free.

Gary M, UKDate of stay: September 2021 We enjoyed our 2 weeks at Villa Neraida, the villa was first class and well appointed throughout, in a delightful location with extensive views. We have had many holidays in the area and can recommend Aphrodite’s supermarket and Vitamins Taverna both having lovely staff who add memories to your holiday. Prestige impressed us with all aspects of the holiday, including regular pool and garden maintenance.
Craig B, Horsham, UKDate of stay: August 2021 We have had 2 fabulous weeks staying at Villa Neraida. The Villa is in a great location with stunning views and a good choice of tavernas at the bottom of the hill, as well as an excellent baker and a supermarket. The road up to the villa is a bit steep but not a problem by car. For those who fancy it, walking up takes about 20 minutes, as it is a bit of a climb but doable. The team at Prestige Villas are great. Annabelle was very patient and helpful with our questions. The pool guys were very friendly. The car hire service that Prestige offer was excellent. No queuing in an airport terminal, you are simply whisked away to a local car hire where your car is waiting. The Villa itself is really nicely finished. It has everything we needed for our holiday. The aircon was a godsend! Annabelle also organised a day sailing for us which was excellent and highly recommended. Sam, Jo, and Johnny where great. Good memories.
Kristin F, London, UKDate of stay: July/August 2021 My husband, 2 daughters and I had the most amazing week at Villa Neraida. We loved everything about it and are already talking about when we can go back. We booked it very late at night on an impulse and got so lucky. The location is perfect. It's a short drive to some of the most beautiful beaches in Corfu and also delicious restaurants. The view from the villa is incredible. The gardens and outdoor space are lovely and well maintained. The gardener came during the week and the pool was cleaned 3 x per week. The villa itself had more than enough space for our family of four. It's thoughtfully planned and you can tell that it's a place that the owners have built to enjoy themselves. They have great taste! We took a lot of great ideas from the design of the villa. The photos on the website do not do the villa justice. We thought it looked good when we booked it, however, were so pleasantly surprised to find that the villa looked even better in real life. If there is a downside, it's the little winding road leading up to it, however, you get the hang of it after a day or so and you wouldn't have the view if you the villa wasn't where it is!
Louise T, Kingston Seymour, UKDate of stay: October 2020 We were very fortunate to stay in Villa Neraida during October half term with our 2 children aged 3 and 5. The villa is beautifully presented and the views were fantastic. We really appreciated the heated pool at this time of year and spent hours in it a day. We were just thrilled with the villa, it was very comfortable to spend dark cooler evenings inside in October. Jane and her team were very helpful answering lots of questions over whats app before and during our stay. My only reservation of the whole holiday was the age of our children with the pool. The down stairs doors locked with a turning nob on the door instead of a key, meaning the children could let themselves outside which was a worry in case they fell in the pool. Despite this we are already planning out next trip back to Villa Neraida when the children are more competent swimmers.
Thomas HDate of stay: August/September 2020 Great pool and views, shady olive trees, fully equipped household and very clean
Stephen D, Surrey UKDate of stay: August 2020 Beautiful, quiet hill side location looking over to Corfu Town in the distance. Lovingly restored Villa with all of mod cons we needed and lots of different areas for daytime and evening relaxing. Great location to explore the NE Corfu Coast. Accessed up a steep hill from the main road - our tip was to drive past the villa, turnaround and then "gun it" up the steep drive! The views are worth it.
Dominik BDate of stay: September 2019 Just beautiful! This lovely house has all you need for a relaxing holiday. Charming interior, wonderful garden with a stunning view.
