Lisa S, USADate of stay: May 2025 We greatly enjoyed Villa Danili. Its near but removed proximity to Ipsos beach was very enjoyable. But perhaps most important was the flexibility of the house design. We were in Corfu for a family wedding with a whole weekend of events and activities. Then we extended our stay to enjoy a vacation. Over the course of 10 days we had 9 family members pass through the house at one time or another using the four bedrooms. There are 4 bedrooms over 3 levels which makes for privacy and quiet while sleeping, and there are four full bathrooms available (shower/tub, toilet, sink) which came in very handy for wedding event prep!. Ages ranged from 15 months to 74 and each could be comfortably situated. The outdoor areas are beautifully done and landscaped providing a nice backdrop to the incredible view of Ipsos bay and mountains. The built-in outdoor grill was fun to use when we were at home, grilling fresh food from the nearby butcher. The owner came to visit a few times and was very attentive. It was a lovely experience for all.
Jo D, UKDate of stay: October 2024 We had a wonderful 3-week holiday in Villa Danili, 6 adults, a 4 year-old and a baby. The villa was perfect for our requirements with everything you could wish for including plenty of space and seating inside and out, comfy bright bedrooms, the perfect pool, beautiful gardens and wonderful view. Well equipped kitchen and outside BBQ. The owner Eleni is a generous, genuinely lovely soul and together with her Mum they went the extra mile for us including little home made Greek specialities delivered to the door, pastries for us and gifts for the children. They kept the villa sparkling clean, nothing was too much trouble. We loved the location, near to the beautiful beaches at Barbati and a bus ride into Corfu town which is the perfect location for sight seeing, shopping and eating/drinking cocktails. There are some great restaurants within walking distance too, along "the Strip", also coffee shops, bars, supermarkets etc. We took a boat trip (boat is moored at Ipsos, you can see it from garden!), well worth doing as you see the beautiful little coves, villages and fabulous houses from the sea. Couple of recommendations from us - Toula's at Agni, Thomas's at Kalami, both stunning locations and wonderful fresh food; The View, Barbati (brunch), Verde Blu, Barbati (go for a beach day and have lunch), in Corfu Town we liked Rex for fine dining and Vesuvius for Italian. For drinks we loved Sessions and De Novo. Locally Kostas Tavern (turn right at bottom of drive, 5 mins walk) -basic but amazing food and great value, Phevos on the strip for traditional Greek dishes (huge portions), Moby Dick at the end of the strip is in a lovely setting. Malibu beach club towards Dassia is also great for a day out, and use of their beautiful pool is included if you buy beach beds - fantastic for children. There's a kebab stall halfway along the strip and they do the best takeaway Gyros/Souvlaki ever. We absolutely loved Villa Danili and would return in a heartbeat!
Isla G, UKDate of stay: September 2024 I stayed at this villa with a group of 5 girls at the beginning of September. We were stunned upon arrival at how beautiful the villa was. The pool and view being the highlight. The host was extremely friendly and the villa had all of the amenities that we needed. The villa was less than a 5 minute walk down to Ipsos beach and the town. The location couldn’t have been any better. We will definitely be returning and I’d recommend to any group or family wanting to stay here.
Emma C, UKDate of stay: June 2024 We have used prestige villas for the second time and we can not recommend them enough. Annabelle was so helpful with any questions we had from car hire, food shopping to great restaurant recommendations. We had a wonderful holiday at villa Danili. The villa is spacious and clean and very comfortable beds. The outside area is just as the photos and the views even more stunning. We love the location because we enjoyed going to Corfu town in the evening (25 mins by taxi) and Barbati beach in the day (10 mins by car). We would highly recommend hiring a boat for a day to visit the north east coast ( lunch at Agni) other restaurants we recommend are Glyfa, vitamin, in Nassaki. Rex ( Corfu town ) locally we enjoyed Moby Dicks. The villa owners are so welcoming they bought us gifts of home made wine, olive Oli and freshly baked cake and vegetables from their garden . We would definitely come back. Thank you
William C, UKDate of stay: June 2024 Very spacious and well maintained villa with great outdoor space and pool area.
Sam C, UKDate of stay: June 2024 A beautiful stay in a home perfect for a large group or family. The pool area is exceptional, very clean with a huge array of seating options. The building itself provides ample shade for hotter days, with the upstairs veranda offering space away from those using the pool. The rooms (and the apartment generally) are all very large, with lots of space for luggage. The bathrooms are all also very fairly sized with all the features you require. Although a little dated/traditional, the kitchen has everything you could need, including dishwasher and washing machine. The apartment is walkable to some lovely shops and places for dinner, with the bus stop (across the road) providing the option to get to corfu town in 30 minutes. Great stay!
Nick B, UKDate of stay: June 2024 We stayed in Villa Danili in Ipsos in June 2024 for one week (a family of 6 - kids are mid 20s). The location is very good with stunning views onto the sea and hills. The owner lives next door and couldn't be more helpful. All villa facilities were fine, swimming pool well used. Would recommend Squirrel restaurant which is a few minutes walk from villa. Great family holiday, thank you.
