‘Highlights’ – Stunning scenery, the heart of the North East coast & pretty harbour area
Nissaki is one, if not, the most popular areas along the North East coast of Corfu for villa holidays. Nissaki spreads itself along a 3km stretch of stunning coastline, encompassing numerous bays and small mountain hamlets. The harbour is the focal point of the area, with a selection of traditional tavernas located around the pretty harbour and immaculate pebbly beach. Here you will find the clearest water, a haven for snorkelling. There are a good selection of restaurants here, Miltos Restaurant is the built on the edge of the rocky outcrop overlooking the sea and the beach. It’s the largest most popular taverna down in Nissaki where Agatha & Lakis and their family before them have been serving delicious home cooked food since 1955.
Located on the coastal road you will find the well stocked Aphrodite Supermarket, a bakery, ATM machine and a little further along the road a small selection of tavernas. On the coastal road between Nissaki & the popular resort of Barbati, is the very popular waterfront restaurant ‘Glyfa Taverna’ Built on the rocks that lead down to the sea, the restaurant is on three levels with views across the sea towards Corfu Town. Anthoula does all the cooking and the staff here are extremely friendly. Lunch is served daily from 12 noon and dinner until 11pm. There are also sunbeds here for free.

Perhaps the only downside is the location as it’s quite far up the mountain, making access to shops and beaches inconvenient. However, we had a lovely holiday there and would definitely book again.

The main drawback which was not mentioned in the information prior to booking was the location near the top of a quite narrow and steep road with hairpin bends. This obviously needed to be negotiated to travel from the villa and return each time we went out. There is a footpath to reach the beach through olive groves which is a little steep but fine.

SoniaDate of stay: August 2023 The house is situated on a hillside at the top of a fairly winding road, but it’s worth the drive for the quiet and stunning views. The pool is a good size and the outside area is lovely with plenty of areas to relax. The house itself is very clean and tidy with great facilities. The upstairs of the house is particularly beautiful, with amazing bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. It has everything our family could need. We really enjoyed our 2 week stay here and would happily visit again. Thank you x

Having never been to corfu before we were unaware of the weather in april or that a lot of things weren't open for the season yet but the villas and their grounds completely made up for that. Lazing by the pool in such beautiful settings is exactly what we needed. The entire team at Prestige villas were so helpful from the very beginning and when we decided to extend our holiday by an extra week they went out of their way to help accommodate us and find us the next perfect villa. I can't rate them all enough. Truly excellent holiday and we will definitely be coming back to corfu with prestige villas again in the future.
