Patricia N, UKDate of stay: May 2017 Very well maintained. Lovely pool. Really need a car not really within walking distance to amenities. There were no condiments supplied so we needed to shop for everything ie salt, pepper etc. It is in the country so be prepared for roosters, owls and stray cats. Would be ideal for a family vacation. Our Response: Thank you very much for taking the time to post a review. We always recommend a car staying at Villa Rossi. It's only a one minute walk through the small gate down the footpath to the high street where there are a few taverna's and a small convenience store selling the absolute basics but the large supermarket which you would need is around a 1.5 - 2km drive. Glad though that on the whole you enjoyed your stay and hope you enjoy the rest of your trip. Have a safe trip back to Canada. Best wishes Jane & The Team.
Peter F, UKDate of stay: May 2017 We had a very enjoyable time in Corfu and the villa was very good. The only criticism is that the villa was cold when we arrived and at night, and the central heating was not available. Friendly and helpful house keeper and gardener who reconnected the water supply when it went off. thank you
Kathryn V, UKDate of stay: May 2017 We had an amazing time at the villa and on wonderful Corfu. The description of the property didn't really do it justice. Jane from Prestige Villas couldn't have been more helpful. The lady who came to change the bedding mid holiday was so lovely, and didn't put us out in any way. The pool guy, and the gardener were really nice. The gardener was especially helpful, inquiring, if it was ok to cut the grass. He also helped my daughter who had problems with her hire car. I would definitely recommend the villa to family and friends. The only small things we would suggest, would be to reposition the TV, to make it easier for everyone to watch, and perhaps have two large sofas, rather than one large and one smaller. It was a bit of a squeeze when all six of us wanted to watch TV. We had lovely meals out especially at Klimitaria in Benitses. In fact most places we ate, the food was really good. The only disappointment was a meal at Etrusco, which is supposed to be the best restaurant on the island. We went there on the last evening of our holiday to celebrate two birthdays. Despite warning them well in advance that our daughter has Coeliac disease, and that two of our party didn't eat meat, they were repeatedly given food with things in that they couldn't eat. We would definitely recommend a visit to the Achillion Palace, which is within walking distance. Corfu town is lovely to visit and has lots to explore. Also the monastery at Paleocastrictos is lovely, but can be very busy with tourists We would definitely recommend a visit to Panto Krator for absolutely amazing views. Overall we had such a wonderful holiday. Everywhere we went people were so friendly and helpful. Perhaps that's why we all love Corfu so much!My Response Thank you so much for your wonderful informative review!! It's great to hear that you had such a lovely holiday both staying at Villa Rossi and enjoying the island. You were a pleasure to host and hope to see you again at the lovely Villa Rossi. Very best wishes to the Vaughan family! From Jane, the team and the owners of Villa Rossi Mr & Mrs Alamanos Prestige Villas of Corfu Limited
Amanda H, UKDate of stay: September 2016 Four of us enjoyed a wonderful week at Villa Rossi. The villa was large, well equipped and clean and tidy for us on arrival. The owners were easily contactable and made sure we had all the information we needed for a smooth arrival. The outdoor space is lovely and relaxing and the upstairs terrace a great late afternoon suntrap. The area is very quiet (a car is really needed) but we found a wonderful Taverna (Lefteris) just a two minute walk away (just before the Palace) with wonderful food and a very welcoming owner - we tried some of the other places past the Palace which had great views but the food was poor! Overall we loved our stay at the Villa and would book again!
Richard C, UKDate of stay: September 2016 We had a great week. 2 minutes to walk to a couple of local Tavernas, and close to the Palace. The villas was well equipped, both inside and out, and very private. The whole booking process was very easy indeed, with Jane and the team quick to answer any questions. Highly recommended !!!! Thanks again !!!
Robert P, USADate of stay: July 2016 Villa Rossi did not disappoint We were a large mixed party that came and went through the 17 days we stayed in the villa. The property quickly became home for us. The area is perfect, walking distance to the number one tourist attraction on Corfu, The Achileon Palace. Great local restaurants within walking distance and a well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill that we put to good use. The villa is large and comfortable We will definitely stay there on our next visit to Corfu. If I had one thing that I could change it would be to add one more ac unit in the upstairs living /dining area. But with some help from the bedroom units it was kept comfortable as we solved puzzle after puzzle late into the night. I can't say too much for Jane. She was easy to talk with and added much to our comfort while being there Great pool, beautiful view of old town and the airport from the veranda. All in all a great place. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!
Anthony P, UKDate of stay: September 2015 We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Rossi. Booking with Jane waseasy and informative. We hired a car through Jane's contact and pick up at the airport was excellent, they even helped us put our luggage on the roof rack of the Fiat Doblo.Instructions to the villa were accurate, don't be put off by the last bit as it's a bit hairy, but good fun. Once you see the villa all will be forgotten as it's spacious, clean, well equipped and has a fabulous terrace where we spent most of our time when we weren't by the pool or out and about. We would thoroughly recommend Villa Rossi.
