Kassiopi
Is this area suitable for me?
Beach – Pebble/Shingle
Restaurants & Bars – Yes plenty along the high street, surrounding the harbour and around the headland
Boat Hire – Yes with Filippos Boats
Supermarkets – Plenty of small supermarkets & mini-markets
‘Highlights’ – Picturesque harbour, great choice of restaurants and an upmarket nightlife
Probably the most famous of the prestigious North East coastal resorts, Kassiopi has become a firm favourite holiday destination for upmarket families looking for a luxury villa holiday in a desirable area. Due to the lack of sandy beaches along this stretch of coastline large mass market hotels have avoided the area and have, the bucket and spade tourists. The area has maintained it’s upmarket status and attracts many A list celebrities & VIPs, many of whom have their own properties discreetly hidden behind many electric gate. The centre of town, or village for that matter has a long pedestrianised high street lined with beach boutiques and souvenir shops, a great choice of tavernas and cocktail bars. The highlight of this picture postcard village is the harbour area where one can take a boat trip down the coast with either one of the organised trips or if you’re feeling confident then hire your own small boat from Filippos Boats one of the islands longest established boat hire company. Popular restaurants in Kassiopi include Trilogia a romantic setting beneath the ancient castle and The Old School House which has recently located down by the harbour from Porta.

RichardDate of stay: September 2023 We stayed at this villa due to its proximity to Soukia Beach and Kassiopi village, both easily accessible by foot. The private pool and walled garden were highlights, though the pool was a bit cold as it was not heated. Inside, the high-quality fixtures were appreciated, as was the spaciousness, comfortably accommodating our group of 6. However, mosquito nets were missed in some of the bedrooms, and faulty air-conditioning which appears to be a recurring issue in two rooms resulted in uncomfortable nights. Despite these minor issues, we enjoyed our time, especially the quiet surroundings and the short walks to the beach and village. The host was responsive, adding to our overall positive experience.
ChrisDate of stay: September 2023 Beautiful Villa. Pool was a highlight!
Deborah T, UKDate of stay: September 2023 Lovely villa. Great location , an easy walk down to the harbour but peaceful setting. The villa was very clean and spacious, lovely outdoor and indoor seating areas. The maid service was excellent. The only negative (and it doesn’t relate to the villa ) is that there is a large dog barking regularly and it woke us early some mornings .
John C, Royston BarnsleyDate of stay: August 2023 The Calypso Villa in Kassiopi exceeded all our expectations, it was an ideal base for our party of eight. Located less than 10 minutes from the town and port and within 3 minutes walk of a lovely secluded cove, ideal for a peaceful swim. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this villa to anyone. The water dispenser was a great bonus to have. Both the maids and the pool man, Murat, were always kind and friendly. Well done to all the Prestige team. "Efkharisto Poli". John & Rose C.
