Kassiopi
Is this area suitable for me?
Beach – Pebble/Shingle
Restaurants & Bars – Yes plenty along the high street, surrounding the harbour and around the headland
Boat Hire – Yes with Filippos Boats
Supermarkets – Plenty of small supermarkets & mini-markets
‘Highlights’ – Picturesque harbour, great choice of restaurants and an upmarket nightlife
Probably the most famous of the prestigious North East coastal resorts, Kassiopi has become a firm favourite holiday destination for upmarket families looking for a luxury villa holiday in a desirable area. Due to the lack of sandy beaches along this stretch of coastline large mass market hotels have avoided the area and have, the bucket and spade tourists. The area has maintained it’s upmarket status and attracts many A list celebrities & VIPs, many of whom have their own properties discreetly hidden behind many electric gate. The centre of town, or village for that matter has a long pedestrianised high street lined with beach boutiques and souvenir shops, a great choice of tavernas and cocktail bars. The highlight of this picture postcard village is the harbour area where one can take a boat trip down the coast with either one of the organised trips or if you’re feeling confident then hire your own small boat from Filippos Boats one of the islands longest established boat hire company. Popular restaurants in Kassiopi include Trilogia a romantic setting beneath the ancient castle and The Old School House which has recently located down by the harbour from Porta.

Nicola M, UKDate of stay: August 2022 We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Villa Calypso, Kassiopi. The villa was as pretty as it looks in the pictures, comfortable, cool and very clean. Having the cleaners in every day was very useful, as was the ability to have shopping delivered pre-arrival. The location of the villa was also perfect - quiet yet a very easy 10 minute walk down to Kassiopi harbour via quiet lanes. We didn't hire a car and didn't find it necessary for a week as there were loads of restaurants and several beaches within easy walking distance. We also found it useful to have a local rep available, who was able to help with any questions we had. Overall a great stay and we'd go back in a shot!
David H, UKDate of stay: July 2022 We had a great stay at Villa Calypso with our 3 teenage daughters in July. The villa was spacious, clean and in a great location to walk into town easily. The only slight negative was that the kitchen was very ill equipped to cook meals if you wanted to of an evening. I’m sure if we had asked for more utensils, ie saucepans would have been provided and the villa still definitely worth 5 stars.
Tracy F, UKDate of stay: June/July 2022 After waiting two years for this holiday it was well worth the wait! The Prestige team could not have been more accommodating and helpful with all the rearranging of dates and villas. Always done with a happy disposition in what must have been an extremely stressful time for the business. The Villa lovely, great location but the best feature was the water machine, which saved lugging water back from the shops, which in 35degree heat was an absolute blessing! Not sure if this is standard across all other accommodation, but a great idea. Will certainly use Prestige again and would thoroughly recommend, responded to any small issues we had very promptly. Think the large UK airports could use their operations skill set!
John O, Hertfordshire, UKDate of stay: May/June 2022 Having rented Villas in Kassiopi and surrounding area in the recent past Villa Calypso did not disappoint. Ideally located a short stroll to the centre of the village with all the amenities. Villa Calypso is furnished and tastefully decorated to a high standard. We had no issues whatsoever, in fact quite the opposite....comprehensive welcome food pack and even a water dispenser {nice touch] which was replenished throughout our stay. Daily housekeeping was provided, a big thank you to Irini who carried out this chore!. sponded to any small issues we had very promptly. Think the large UK airports could use their operations skill set!
Valery S, Hook, UKDate of stay: May 2022 Lovely villa situated in a quiet location within easy walking distance to the harbour & village with plenty of good restaurants & shops. The main villa with the kitchen & living accommodation including the 3 main bedrooms was excellent. The outside dining & seating areas are spacious & comfortable. A good size pool & sun loungers were good although pool heating would be a welcome bonus. Our party didn’t need to use the 4th bedroom by the pool area. I would suggest caution if you are booking & require this as it is completely separate to the main villa not a welcoming as the other bedrooms.
Mark D, UKDate of stay: April 2022 Great place. Heated swimming pool would make it perfect
Andrea P, Nottingham, UKDate of stay: September 2021 We all had a fabulous holiday. It was so good we will be booking again.
