Jemma M, London, UKDate of stay: July/August 2020 Another year booking with Jane and the Prestige team and it was as easy as ever. There attitude in the pandemic has been exemplary with flexibility on balance payment dates or being able to move deposits to an alternative date. Great villa - we missed our views of the sea but Villa Calypso was brilliantly located and an easy stroll into Kassiopi which is what we wanted for the teenagers in the party. Villa very clean and well equipped. Thank you again for a wonderful two weeks.
Helen H, Thornton-Cleveleys, UKDate of stay: September 2019 This Villa was perfect in every way. It’s location in Kassiopi meant we could walk to the tavernas and bars. The service provided by the staff was excellent and we were well looked after when we had a problem with the hot water. Hariss came every day to clean the pool and Julie kept the Villa spotless. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday and would definitely use Prestige Villas again
Lisa Dawson, York, UKDate of stay: July/August 2019 Where Did We Stay? I found a villa company called Prestige Villas Of Corfu and the perfect match - the property was called Calypso and comprised four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a pool, a mere eight minute walk from the hub of Kassiopi. It also had reliable WiFi - much as I have the greatest of respect for people who smugly claim to discard their phones for a week whilst on holiday to ‘get away from it all’, the reality is that ALL of my family would rather spend a week in a frozen cave in Outer Siberia with only dead fish for company than be without social media (or in Joe’s case, a motor trade balance sheet). Set over three floors and sleeping eight, the master bedroom suite overlooked the sea and the sun loungers were cream pad cushioned. I always take the quality of my sun loungers very seriously when considering holidays. I would class the price of the villa as mid to high - not cheap, but every room was simply yet beautifully decorated and everything was provided, from pool and bath towels, through to a water cooler, a pool man and a housekeeper who arrived promptly at 1.30 pm daily to clean and tidy. Heaven. Read Lisa's full review via her online blog 'How We Holiday: Kassiopi, Corfu' www.lisadawsonstyling.com/blog/2019/8/7/north-west-corfu
Lucy K, London, United KingdomDate of stay: June 2019 We absolutely loved our 5 nights at Villa Calypso. It was spacious, stylishly decorated and had a fabulous pool. The close proximity to the restaurants, shops and bars of Kassiopi meant we didn’t even need to rent a car. It was a luxury having daily housekeeping visits and the outside area was kept spotless by daily visits from Haris who was extremely helpful answering any of our queries.
Natalie H, Sevenoaks, UKDate of stay: May 2019 We all enjoyed our holiday at Villa Calypso. Appreciated the welcome pack, water dispenser and the late checkout. We had a few issues with the water supply but Barbara was quick to respond. Excellent location being a short walk to Kassiopi harbour with choice of restaurants and bars. Boat trips and excursions available from Kassiopi so a car isn't essential. The villa needs a house sign! We recognised it from the photos but didn't go in until we had confirmed it was the correct villa. More than 1 key would be useful, especially as no handle on front door so key needs to be left in the lock. My parents slept in the poolside bedroom which had an external door with no lock. Our party ranged in age from 5 to 77 years so thoroughly recommend this villa for a family holiday.
Jenny W, Walthamstow, UKDate of stay: September 2018 This is a stunning villa and we were so delighted with our stay. The team at Prestige Villas were super helpful and when we arrived Barbara, our host, was on hand and so accommodating. The villa was spotless and cleaned daily. They provided all the bottled water we needed and a welcome pack which was a nice touch. Can't reccomend this place enough, we couldn't stop taking pictures of our gorgeous setting. Tips for other travellers No need to hire a car. It would have been cheaper and easier to use a taxi transfer which Barbara arranged for one of our guests. The local restaurants are all good. Hire a private boat and visit local beaches, that's an amazing day out.
Michael T, United KingdomDate of stay: September 2018 The villa was described as de luxe xxxxx but failed to meet that standard and certainly was not worth the cost. No tv Service was available on arrival and even though the owner put this right by the first Wednesday of our holiday it should not have happened. There were kennels near the property and we had to put up with dogs barking loudly throughout the day including early morning, together with the constant calling of cockerels! Olives had fallen from two trees overhanging the sides of the swimming pool and were uncomfortable and dangerous to walk on they should have been removed on a daily basis. The villa was very impressive to look at and very well furnished but the route in and out town on foot was very uneven and dangerous particularly at night. Our Response: Hi Michael I am so sorry you felt the villa didn't live up to your expectations. We have had so many great reviews on our own website this year with repeat clients who have already booked for 2019. Not sure what happened with the TV but clearly this was rectified almost immediately the problem was reported.. Unfortunately, dogs and wildlife are part of rural living in Greece as are Olives falling late in the season which the gardener and pool guy do try and keep swept on their regular visits, albeit not daily. I am glad that you thought the villa was impressive and well furnished, this in our opinion is the reason why we would describe it as a deluxe property. The road into the village is a side lane off the High Street and although tarmacked is slightly uneven in parts. As with most of the villas we recommend a torch for clients to use on late night returns. Best wishes Jane & the Team at Prestige Villas
